Anna Pearson
Board Member
Anna Pearson grew up in Southern California, where an early exposure to service and community-based work shaped a lasting commitment to meeting people’s needs with dignity and compassion. She supported her mother’s charitable organization, Pillows and Plenty, from a young age—an experience that continues to inform her approach to care.
She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, training across hospital, school, and residential settings. Anna currently works as a clinical social worker at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Department and at McLean Hospital, supporting patients and families during moments of acute crisis and transition.
Her professional interests include developing systems-level supports that extend care beyond the bedside. She is particularly interested in creating hospital-based initiatives in partnership with Pillows and Plenty—such as homeless discharge backpacks and inpatient unit libraries—to foster more supportive and humane care environments.
Beyond her clinical work, Anna remains dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of Pillows and Plenty across both healthcare and community settings. She is also working toward opening a private practice focused on accessible, compassionate mental health care.

Sister Katherine Jones

Our dear friend and one of the original board members of Pillows and Plenty, Sister Katherine Jones, has stepped away from her long-time role with our organization. Now in her late eighties, she is cutting back on her schedule and continues to work in Bereavement at a local Catholic cemetery. We honor Sister Katherine, her contributions, and her beautiful spirit.
