Winter News 2025
Thanks to you, we've been able to support youth in Southern California for 21 years. Those in need walk a fine line and sometimes the support of a gift card, or the comfort of warm clothes and a pillow can provide a glimmer of hope in difficult times. In many cases, these gifts help someone feel seen and encouraged.
We've made some great strides this year. We've just provided warm clothes and gift cards to a young boy in high school and his family who were recently made homeless. Pillows and Plenty has delivered 30 gift cards to Elsinore Valley Pregnancy Resource Center and 30 gift cards to Walking with Moms in Need in Chino Valley. These impressive organizations help young mothers and fathers facing unexpected pregnancy by providing resources and education in preparation for and during parenthood.
The foster youth at the Foster Care Project always have our full support and we were able to give warm hoodies and insulated water bottles to 16 foster kids. We also gave 34 hoodies to a local school district’s continuation high school where the counselor will be giving them to low-income students and students who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
For the holidays, we will give Target gift cards to foster youth and to the students at the continuation high school.
New warm and cozy hoodies modeled by our wonderful Pillows & Plenty volunteers!
Our goal is to provide encouragement to help our Southern California youth early in their life journeys. Your help allows us to restore self-pride in a young individual and brighten their outlook for the future during difficult times. One by one, we all rise.
Please join us in helping those who need it the most this season.
Thank you for your continued support at this time of giving,
Stephanie Rizzardi
